Made Equal is a UK-based not-for-profit enterprise with a vision to engage, educate and empower people in their 20s and 30s to enable them to become the first generation to eradicate gender inequality globally.
Made Equal is the first UK based NGO which recognises that Young Adults and Young Professionals have unique potential to transform society which must be recognised and promoted. With a particular focus on preventing violence against women and girls (VAWG), the most pervasive form of gender inequality, our aim is to provide a platform for young professionals through training programs, participation in international and local events and conversations, providing opportunities learn about the specific needs of women in their 20s and 30s. Through active participation a generation of changemakers for gender equality will be equipped to stand against gender inequality in the UK and internationally.
Our activities are geared towards prevention, education, economic empowerment, and campaigning by being social innovative, which reflect our core belief that anyone can be a powerful change agent in society once they are equip to speak out and take action against injustice. Through our work we strongly urge men to work alongside women to promote gender equality in a way that respects women’s experiences, leadership and expertise to achieve our vision for Gender Justice by 2030.
